The CABAC CAEC6 heavy-duty C connector is designed for copper conductor tap-off and earth rod connection applications. It suits 50–120mm² run conductors with a 6mm² tap conductor and is also intended for use with 13mm, 14mm and 15mm diameter earth rods where a compression connection is required.
This connector is used in earthing, bonding, direct-burial and infrastructure installations where a durable copper compression connection is preferred over a bolted clamp. The C connector format provides a compact permanent joint when installed using the correct crimping tooling and die set.
