Product Description

The CABAC Possum Guard Kit is an overhead cable protection sleeve designed to help prevent possums from travelling along exposed overhead cables and conductors.

Developed by CABAC and used by a range of authorities, the guard works by creating an unstable, swivelling jacket around the cable. When a possum attempts to walk along the cable, the rotating sleeve makes it difficult to maintain a stable footing, helping to deter movement along the line.

The PPG2 model features a 70 mm internal diameter and 800 mm length, making it suitable for larger overhead cable applications. It is made from low-density polyethylene and is secured in place using a cable tie.

Installation Instructions

1. Prepare the possum guard
   Remove the possum guard sleeve from the packaging and check that it is clean and undamaged.
